Dr. Steve Piper recently moved to Vernon, BC to be closer to family and the beautiful, outdoor lifestyle. He spends time with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Finnigan, cruising the Okanagan Valley on many self-propelled adventures. He believes movement and active lifestyle is the key to longevity.
Steve is only one of two sport chiropractic fellows of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences Canada in the Okanagan Valley and is a current member of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS). His previous education includes a Bachelor of Science (honours) degree, Doctor of Chiropractic degree (graduated with clinic honours) and the prestigious sport sciences residency program at CMCC in Toronto. Dr. Steve is a published research author and has spoken at international conferences on chiropractic research. He continues to stay on the cutting edge of research through his own studies on knee injuries in rehabilitation sciences at the University of Alberta.

He utilizes treatments including exercise, ART, Graston, Functional Range Conditioning, Complete Concussion Management protocol, manual therapy including adjustments, education, research and clinical experience working with high-level athletes to provide the best possible approach to maintaining your health. Dr. Piper has worked closely with orthopedic surgeons and sport medicine doctors at the Edmonton Sport Institute. In addition, he created a sport practice at a busy elite training facility at Evolve Strength gym (home to many Edmonton based pro-athletes and weekend warriors). He is actively involved within the Canadian sport community as a chiropractor and as a therapist/strength coach. Previously, he worked as the therapist and strength coach for the men’s and woman’s varsity hockey teams at Brock University, and Ridley College in St. Catharines, Ontario, participated as medical/chiropractic staff at numerous Tae Kwon Do tournaments, Canadian National Track and Field Trials, CIAU Western Track finals, the Great White North Triathlon and the ITU World Triathlon Edmonton. More recently, Steve worked directly with Crossfit athletes in Vernon during the 2017 open.
