Hip Enough – Yin Yoga (Beginner Friendly)
Just like the junk drawer at home, our pelvis and hips are the junk drawer of the body; storing unnecessary emotions and physical tension.
Yin practice works to promote flexibility in areas often perceived as non-flexible especially the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. During practice postures will be held in a seated or laying position for 3-5 minutes. You will feel completely supported and at ease using bolsters and blocks. Yin practice benefits your body physically by working deep into the connective tissue allowing the body to soften and relieve aches and pain. Mentally your body reacts by slowing down the breath, quieting the mind and allowing you to feel more grounded and secure.
